Urban Camper Hostel is a low-budget hostel-concept focusing on social and affordable accommodation for travellers keen to stray a little from the beaten tracks of Copenhagen.
The theme is indoor camping, so when you stay with us, you’ll be camping in the city because we have pitched our tents inside an old office building so you’re safe from the weather outside. In true camping spirit, at our urban campground, you’ll get the genuine spirit of camping, but without the irritating discomforts of actual camping – no rain, no mosquitoes just a fun experience like no other.
Vores mål er at lave både camping- og hostelliv med stil, og vi håber, at du vil slutte dig til os i baren for at møde dine medbycampister og få nye venner, mens du deler en drink eller to. Kort sagt, vi er som intet andet sted, og vi vil virkelig gerne dele den særlige følelse af Urban Camper-stemningen med dig.

Breakfast in not included in the booking price.
Every morning we serve a fresh and tasty continental breakfast from 07:00-10:00
The offering varies depending on the seasons, but generally consists of different types of bread, meats, cheeses, jams, fruit, yogurt and musli.
Included is also coffee, tea, and juice.
The breads, jams and fruits can be enjoyed by vegans.

How can I store my luggage during my stay?

Teltene kan ikke aflåses, men der er skabe i hvert telt, hvor du kan opbevare dine værdigenstande.
Skabene i teltene til dine værdigenstande er 33 cm brede, 46,5 cm dybe og 78 cm høje.
These lockers must be locked with a padlock and you can either bring your own lock or buy one at the reception for 50DKK.
For size reference; the padlocks we sell are 40mm wide and the shackle is 6,3mm which is a pretty normal size. Padlocks too small or too big might not fit/work on our lockers.
Dørene til teltområdet er altid låst og kun personer, der bor på vandrerhjemmet, har adgang til teltområdet med deres personlige nøglekort.
De to private rum har en "normal" dør og kan kun tilgås med et personligt nøglekort.

Can I store my luggage before or after my stay?

You can store your luggage before or after check-in in our luggage boxes for 30DKK per day.
Bagageboksene har følgende mål: 80cm. høj, 80 cm. dyb og 46 cm. bred.

Hvem egner Urban Camper sig til?

Due to the concept and the setup, the hostel does not allow for families with children under the age of 18.
Anyone between the age of 17 and 18 wishing to stay at the hostel must stay with a person over the age of 18 eller have en underskrevet forældreautorisation og altid i et privat rum eller telt. Ydermere skal reservationen foretages direkte via vores hjemmeside og ikke gennem tredjepart.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Indtjekning er tilgængelig fra kl. 15.00
Hvis du ankommer tidligt, er du velkommen til at vente i vores bar og fællesareal, mens du nyder en drink, eller du kan opbevare din bagage i vores bagagebokse for 20DKK og vende tilbage, når du vil.
Hvis du ankommer efter midnat, er døren til gaden låst, men ring blot til os på +45 31 77 08 06, så kommer receptionen og lukker dig ind.
Udtjekning er kl. 11.00
Sen udtjekning er muligt indtil kl. 13.00 mod et ekstra gebyr på 85DKK.

In connection with the bar you find our beautiful terrace and rooftop bar
Enjoy the beautiful rooftop terrace where you can play outdoor pétanque all year round and enjoy a unique view of the neighbourhood.
In the summer we serve cold draft beers, cool wines and fresh cocktails from the Rooftop Bar and in the winter you can cosy up under heat lamps and with soft blankets.

Urban Camper has a large common area with a great social bar with a wide selection of craft beers and board games, pool and shuffleboard. Read more her.
You can rent bikes from 6 hours or a full day. Ask the front desk team for more information about this.
In the common area we have two washing machines and two dryers available for self-service. Washing detergent is included. The laundry is open 24/7, and you can pay easily with cash or card.

How do I reach Urban Camper?

Fra Københavns lufthavn:

Du skal blot gå ud af ankomstområdet og gå direkte ind på metroen.
Kør på M2 mod Vanløse.
Stå af på Kongens Nytorv og skift til M3 via Østerport.
Dit stop er Nørrebro.
Uden for metroen, foran dig, vil du se en bygning med skriften Nørrebro Bycenter på – det er os!

Med bus ved Hovedbanegården:

Hvis du kommer ind i København med bus (som Flixbus), vil en kort tur med metroen tage dig til Urban Camper Hostel.

Do you provide parking?

We offer parking 100 metres from the hostel at the cost of 100DKK for 24 hours.
Der er både parkeringsmuligheder udenfor eller inde i en parkeringskælder. Denne kælder er åben fra 10.00-21.00 på hverdage og fra 9.00-20.00 i weekenden. Uden for disse timer er kælderen aflåst og kan ikke tilgås.

Motorcykler skal parkeres under samme forhold som en bil.
